The Holy Trinity Schola Cantorum, accompanied by orchestra, performs the incredible Deutsches Requiem of 19th century musical giant Johannes Brahms. This largescale work—which Brahms himself once called a “Human Requiem”—makes use of various selections of Holy Scripture in the German language., and remains one of the most emotionally uplifting and rapturous of all the great works of choral music. As we all seek to find our way in an increasingly troubled and uncertain world, the time could not be more right to experience this beautiful music in this glorious space. Bring your friends and neighbors!
